Hello people, welcome to Kamalika’s Notebook. I chose to call it a notebook because whatever I’m going to share here are from the notes I have taken in my mind for various purposes in different timeframes of my life. I wish I could share everything I have found interesting and worth sharing with the world. I have named the website/blog after me but the things I’m going to share will be mostly about the people I have met, places I have visited, and also some knowledge I have accumulated throughout my life. Born to a learned and communist father and beautiful and creative mother I went on becoming nothing like them but only managed to meet interesting and talented people who made my life worth celebrating. Since my childhood, I was an inquisitive kid who took great interest in many things which included art, literature, nature, science, technology, people, geographies, and even a little bit of history. Unlike other kids who were very focused and decisive about their career paths, I could never decide which stream of study would be befitting as I took a lot of interest in almost everything around me. Eventually, I took science and became a Software Engineer after a couple of failed attempts to quit education since I passed my 12th-grade board exam! In my journey, I have made great friends who stood by me in my thick and thin. My parents have motivated me to read books, being creative, and being a disciplined kid. My friends have taught me to be selfless, not being greedy, enjoying good music and movies, understanding good food, being brave and loyal. I always think one day I’ll write a book about the people I have coincided in life. Till then I hope to entertain you via my online journal and also keep growing myself through your feedbacks.
